AI credits are spent by what each message costs to run: the default everyday model uses the fewest, and more capable models use more. When a month’s credits run out, add a credit pack or upgrade; credits never refill on their own. On paid plans, connected-app actions past 300 in a month are billed at $0.10 each on your next invoice.
Fair use on every plan: up to 1,500 captures and 5 million characters sorted per person each month, across voice notes, uploads, typed notes, Email in, an Omi wearable and documents sorted by their folder. Past that, captures are still filed, just not sorted, until the next month.

Why isn’t this just a $20 AI subscription?
A $20 subscription buys a chatbot that knows nothing about your business. Mycel holds your business’s own memory, answers you and your team from it, and files what you capture back into it. If you also run our other apps, their AI reads it too. You’re paying for the memory, not for more chat.
What’s the difference between Personal and Business?
Personal is one person’s vault and assistant, with add-ons à la carte. Business covers 3 people for $199 a month, and each extra seat is $59: everyone works in one shared vault and team chat, every employee gets their own filtered Today, they can run guides and write SOPs, and cash and approvals stay with the owner and admins. Crew you add from TradesBackbone or Relay are free and don’t take a seat. Up to 25 seats, every add-on included except Advanced AI models, which are a $20 a month add-on.
Do I need someone to set it up?
No. You sign up, answer a few questions and start adding what your business knows. If you use TradesBackbone, Relay, ReputeLift or SynthPrism, you connect them yourself from inside Mycel. Nobody has to touch it for you.
Do I lose my data if I leave?
Never. Your vault is plain markdown in real folders. Export the whole thing as a zip anytime. If you outgrow Mycel, you keep what you built.
Is there a discount?
Annual billing is 12 months for the price of 11. Founding customers get 15% off for the first year, and running two or more Martello apps takes 10% off each. Discounts don’t stack past 20% off (10% on Personal).
